My Aim as a Psychotherapist...
is to facilitate clients’ achievement of positive change, adaptation, or resolution.
I acknowledge that individuals are influenced by social and cultural expectations. I value clients’ right to determine their own lifestyle and life-goals within the relationships, whanau, families, social and cultural context they identify with.
I invite clients to identify their own goals; we then discuss the therapeutic frame and expectations with identified therapeutic outcomes.
